Limited Release: M1 Special Edition Driver

by Community Manager

Introducing the red, white and blue M1 Special Edition driver. 2016 gives plenty of reasons to show your stars and stripes so we've incorporated some custom components to a limited invintory of M1 drivers to celebrate.

Since hitting the Tour in September of 2015, the M1 Driver has captured 24 worldwide wins. 13 of those victories occured on the on PGA TOUR including a stretch of 7 wins in 8 tournaments by 6 different atheletes.

Similar to the original M1 driver, the M1 Special Edition features a seven-layer carbon composite crown that significantly decreases the crown’s weight allowing engineers to add a T-Track system that houses 25g of adjustable weight. The weighting system has been placed low on the sole so regardless of moveable weight positions, the club still maintains a low center of gravity to deliver optimal trajectory.

Aesthetically, the M1 Special Edition features the same white forward section, while the carbon composite crown has been tinted a translucent dark blue. Additionally, the driver incorporates a red T-bug alignment aid, red & blue T-Track weights, white PVD face + sole, red aluminum sleeve, and an American flag on the driver’s toe.

We teamed up with Fujikura Composites on a custom Speeder 661 Tour Spec Special Edition shaft created specifically for the Special Edition driver. We also worked with Golf Pride to include a Patriot Grip.

Included is a premium full leather headcover, the same used by TaylorMade’s Tour staffers at the 2016 U.S. Open.

Availability and Pricing

Available on August 26 at $799 USD, the M1 Special Edition is available in 9.5° & 10.5° lofts in regular and stiff flexes.

I am dying to see this club in person.  The red, white and blue theme isn't overdone, and maintains a very "classy" look.  Two thumbs up.
