Wondering which iron set to buy?. Strike the long ball well with handicap 6, but short game is my problem. Looking at either P790s or the P770s. Can hit a 2 iron well so the P790 UDI is already in the bag, not sure about 3-PW though. Is the P790 still ok for a pretty good ball striker, who can shape shots etc, or should I go the P770?. I hit a 7 iron with a high ball flight 150m+/165+ yard carry with JPX850 forged.

I play the P790's and I am a low handicap. It all depends on how good of a ball striker you are. I don't always strike the ball perfectly so I needed a little forgiveness even though I am a low handicap golfer.
I also have the 2 Iron in the P790 and I LOVE THAT CLUB!
Good luck with your choice!
The handicap system adds a stroke to the better player’s score or subtracts a stroke for the less skilled player for the number of holes equal to the difference in the players' best golf irons for mid handicappers. Therefore scores using handicap are not equal to the number of strokes actually played plus any penalty strokes. Since professional golfers record the actual number of strokes taken plus penalties they don’t maintain a handicap. The handicap system is a USGA fudge factor to give non-professional players of different skill levels a way of playing competitively with each other. Professional golfers are considered to have the skill level to play competitively against each other. Pro golfers that do not exhibit the skill level to be competitive will lose their Tour Card and have to go through Q School again.
