Interested to find out what was the first TaylorMade ball you ever played?

We've been making golf balls since 1999, starting out with the Inergel Tour and Inergel Pro....all the way through to 2017 and the launch of TP5x and TP5, which are taking the tour by storm and in the bags of DJ, Rory, Day, Rose, Garcia & Rahm...

These were the first dozen I tried...Inergel Pro. How about you guys?

Same for me, Inergel Pro. I was a Professional 90 player at the time, but a friend bought some of the balls in the "weird plastic sleeve" and had me try them.

Since I'm still fairly new to the game, my first TaylorMade ball was a Penta TP3. I had first found one on the course I was playing and decided to play through with it, seeing as though it looked like it had only been hit once. I quickly fell in love with it and bought a couple of boxes in the year to follow. I now have come to enjoy the TP5x, which has helped my short game a ton. Smiley Happy

I played a few of those Inergel balls that I found on courses as a kid, but the first TM ball I ever really bought was the TP Black, which led me to discover the TP Red, which was one of the best balls ever made. I’ve been a big fan ever since, playing the Tour Preferred X as my primary ball these days. The TP5x was a bit of a miss for me, because it doesn’t seem to offer enough spin around the greens (though it is half a club longer), but I’m hopeful the next generation will be a better fit for me.

Graduated high school in 2000. I very well remember the days of the Inergel and the Nubbins putters. Back then if I wasn't playing the Precept U-Tri Tour, I rolled a few Inergels. Nothing like rocking that 7.0° Burner with the Ti Bubble shaft too.

Started with the TP Red. Played some with the TP Black but loved the TP Red. Then Penta, Lethal, TPX and TP5.
