MyRoundPro and Samsung S3 gear battery issue

I used the app pretty much all last summer/fall with minor issues.  Since I live up where the snow flies, I didn't use the app since October.  This year, every round has killed my S3 gear watch battery within 9 holes.  I have uninstalled/reinstalled, went through every setting that I can find and still no luck.  

 

Anyone have any suggestions.  Pretty renders the app useless on the watch because it died on my last round of 18 on hole 14.  There goes all my round data and stats.

I do not use a S3 gear watch but have noticed pretty decent battery life falloff in my watch just a year into its life. Perhaps the watch battery just isn’t holding the same charge it did last year?
